These crunchy onion rings are better than any I've ever had before!
I love these onionΒ rings. I make them all the time because they’re just so good and pair perfectly with my ketchup. They’re light and crispy and full of yummy flavor. I dunno what else to say about them – they’re friggan good – make them!
Onion Rings (GF, DF, V)
This recipe is for one medium sized onion

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup tapioca starch
- 1/4 cup gluten free, nightshade free flour
- 1 tsp pink himalayan salt
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup alternative milk I used rice milk
- oil for frying (Coconut)
Instructions

In a small pan, heat up enough oil to submerge the onions. On a plate, add all the dry ingredients and gently stir until it's mixed together. In another dish, add the milk and set aside.

Slice the onions to about 1/4" thickness. Gently place them in the milk and then dip them into the flour mixture one at a time. Put them in the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 mins or until crispy. Repeat until all your rings are fried and enjoy immediately!
