Sun Tea (Paleo, Vegan, Detox)

Hot days are the perfect time to set out a jar of sun tea!

Ingredients

For the tea....

  • 1 64oz Mason jar or large glass container
  • 1 bag Organic Roasted Dandelion Tea
  • 4 bags Numi Organic Tea Emperor's Pu-erh or any black tea
  • Filtered water

After the tea is finished...

  • 1 800ML Voss bottle
  • 2 1/4 cups sun tea
  • 1 cup hemp milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup more or less depending on preference
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional

Instructions

To make the tea..

  1. Using a 64oz mason jar, add 1 tea bag of roasted dandelion tea and 4 bags of black tea. Fill to the top with filtered water and screw on the lid tightly. Set in direct sunlight for a majority of the day. I like to set it out in the morning and grab it around 4 or 5 pm.

  2. Put it in the fridge to cool. It usually takes the next day to be cool enough. You can always add ice and drink it right away if you want! The tea should keep in the fridge for up to a week.

For the tea mix...

  1. Add the rest of the ingredients to a blender and blend for about 15 seconds. Pour into your Voss bottle or other container and enjoy!
