These gooey bars are easy to make and easy to devour....
Jeez, it took me long enough to post these! Haha, sometimes the world gets ahead of me and I run out of time, every time. I made these about 2 weeks ago and they were really good. My non-paleo/non-anything friends said they were good. Even my husband liked them! The filling is so delicious. I’ve been on a major berry kick (and shrimp, ha!) and this satisfied my craving 🙂
A sweet treat for breakfast, dessert, or whatever you feel like cause they're amazing
- 1 12oz bag of frozen raspberries
- 1 16oz package fresh strawberries
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all ingredients for crust and mix until a dough forms. Press into the parchment paper evenly and bake for 15 mins.
In a medium saucepan, bring the berries and maple syrup to a boil and simmer for 10 mins.
Pour the berry mixture over COOLED crust.
For the topping, combine all ingredients and mix gently with your hands to form crumbles. Spread over the top of the berry mixture and bake for an additional 15 mins.
