These are the perfect fix for your chocolate needs and so easy to make.

I bought a cheap donut maker and used this recipe with it. You don’t have to have anything fancy! They are so fluffy and yummy and super good with the dairy-free chocolate sauce drizzled on top. My toddler went crazy for them!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup tapioca starch
  • 1/4 cup cassava flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup hemp milk
  • 1 egg replacer I used Bob's Red Mills
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean powder
For the chocolate sauce...
  • 1 cup enjoy life chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
  1. Heat up your donut maker and leave it open. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and set aside. In a smaller mixing bowl, mix together the wet ingredients and combine with the dry.

  2. Stir until well incorporated and let stand for 10 mins. Pour 1 tbsp or more into each spot (depending on the donut maker you have).

For the chocolate sauce...
  1. In a small saucepan on the stove, heat the chocolate chips with coconut oil and stir until melted then remove from heat to prevent burning. Pour over your donuts and enjoy!
